A Humble Prayer For Us All
I bow my head in childlike faith.
Believing. Trusting. Anticipating.
Knowing.
"If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
~~2 Chronicles 7:14
Amazing Heavenly Father, You tell us wherever two or more of us are gathered together in Your Name, there You are also. When we hold hands and bow our heads, when we find ourselves helplessly on our knees in the wee dawn hours of inhumane pain, alone, hurt, angry, desperately sick, HOPELESS, when we humble ourselves in contrition and respect, when we open our newborn eyes in awe and wonder, when we reluctantly succumb and open our minds to allow the phenomenal new growth in---when we learn to be still in the beauty of Your Spirit: WHEN WE DROP THE UNNECESSARY LUGGAGE AND FINALLY, FULLY SUBMIT OUR WILL TO YOURS, it is then and only then that we can hear You--the still, small but ***MIGHTY*** (with a capital M, bold, italicized, starred, underlined, bookmarked, and highlighted) voice. It is only then that we can receive You and all that You long to give us.
Thank You, Father.
Just...
Thank You
π
May God richly, richly bless you and your loved ones.
And may your journey to your Shiloh be an amazingly peaceful and beautiful one.
And finally,
"Love one another as I have loved you."
